Wheel Throwing Level 2
When: Tuesdays, March 4- April 8, 2025 (6 weeks)

Already take a beginner wheel class? Level 2 is the next step. This class will refresh the basics: wedging, centering, pulling, trimming, glazing, and studio etiquette. Then, honing each students throwing, working on refining forms and gaining new skills on the wheel. Each week we will add a new wheel technique to your arsenal. We will spend 4 weeks throwing and 2 weeks on glazing and finishing work.
All 6 week classes include: use of studio tools, 25 lbs. of clay, bisque and cone 10 reduction glaze firing, and open studio time to practice, alternating Saturday or Sunday (11am-5pm) throughout the 6 weeks of class. Available open studio dates will be published on the JBCP website calendar. All students are expected to follow studio policies as outlined in class and posted in the studio. Each student may purchase up to 25 lbs of clay in addition to the clay included in their registration.
All JBCP classes have a minimum enrollment that must be met for the class to hold.
