Choose your Own Adventure

A special pottery class is for multiple levels of potter to work at their own pace. This class is not for beginners but welcomes potters who have taken one or two classes and wish to work at their own pace with guidance and instruction. This class does not have scheduled demo’s but is open for students to choose your own pottery adventure. Have a special project you have been wanting to make? Just want to practice your throwing skills with guidance from an experienced instructor? Or need some time to get in to the studio and work with clay? This is your chance. This class welcomes both experienced hand builders and wheel throwing potters.
All 6 week classes include: use of studio tools, 25 lbs. of clay, bisque and cone 10 reduction glaze firing, and open studio time to practice, alternating Saturday or Sunday (11am-5pm) throughout the 6 weeks of class. Available open studio dates will be published on the JBCP website calendar. All students are expected to follow studio policies as outlined in class and posted in the studio.
All JBCP classes have a minimum enrollment that must be met for the class to hold.
